November 2010

It’s only been a few months, and I am really feeling that “itch” kicking in already.

That itch to go out, travel, meet fantastic like-minded people and most important of all; shooting some glorious sideways action again with my mates and colleagues from Drifted.com

Now that the winter and extreme low temperatures are settling in and most people snuggle up in front of a fireplace. I will get down and out and see if I can’t make good use of the winter months here in Norway. So if anyone wants to have some fun in front of my camera, shout!

Back to Grand Turismo 5 to shake of my jitters.
See ya’ll in the snow!

Fun-Fact: My videos on My Vimeo have recieved 6,783 Plays this week.
God I love the internet.
My most popular and my most favourite video I’ve ever made, made it onto the DriftWorks blog today! 12,3k Plays and rising after a few months on the web.

Alright then. This, is my wet dream of a camera. I’ve been the past months quite torn about what camera to get prior to the next season of filming. It was between a Canon 7D and the pretty new Sony NEX VG-10. Although, both of these have some issues I just can’t justify spening my money on.
Then I got linked to this beast, launched earlier this week, by a dear friend and fellow videographer of mine, Marius @ Autobloggen. It was love at first sight! This, as far as I’ve come to a conclusion, has everything I need and want in a video camera. It’s like the 7D and the VG-10 combined! Time to dig deep in my pockets, man up and get this in my hands as soon as I can.
I need to go lay down for a minute now.

It snowed today. I miss summer!

I love when a teacher calls in sick. 3 hours of In Design theory and 2 hours of P.E.
Pizza digested and How I Met Your Mother playing.
Hey’O!
Liar! You make me awesome <3

Right, dudes and dudettes! This is something I never thought I’d really do. Make a blog. Why? Because I am not usually the one to follow a fad, a trend if you like. Then why did I create Whatever Works? Well, why do you think?

This blog will be about stuff I find interesting. Be it cars, events, art, people or random stuff. Although, it just might happen it will be mostly about cars.

This is what I do, what I breathe and what I live.
You can follow my work on Vimeo, where you can find all my videos. You can find me on drifted, where I post everything drifting related I can, along with the rest of the very talented crew of contributors! You can also find my art on Deviantart, which has had way to little updates this past year. That I do hope to change during these winter months!
So that’s about it. My name is Daniel Hovdahl, and you just read the first post of my Tumblr.
Welcome!
